    Nearly 70 years ago, Paul Torassa, a licorice lover and the director of a pasta factory in Nice, decided to make strands of licorice candy using the pasta machines. He cut the strands and the candy became popular. Since then the company has specialized in licorice, pastilles and bonbons. Each pastille provides a mouthful of refreshing anise and licorice flavor. The tins are beautifully designed and filled with delicious candies from France.
